1,000: Total assists for Brandeis senior setter and Eastern New Mexico commit Catalina Gutierrez, who reached milestone during the Broncos’ match vs. Clark on Oct. 18.
1,000: Career assists for Steele senior setter Kaelyn Baughman, who accomplished the feat during the Knights’ 25-23, 25-17, 25-8 win vs. Judson on Oct. 15.
1,000: Total assists for O’Connor senior Sofia Chapa, who attained the standard during the Panthers’ win vs. Brennan on Oct. 11.
1,000: Career digs for Somerset senior and Waldorf (Iowa) commit Gianna Sifuentes, who attained the mark during the Bulldogs’ match vs. Pearsall on Oct. 4.
1,000: Career digs for Reagan senior libero Shayne Zammiello, who reached the milestone during the Rattlers’ match vs. Johnson on Sept. 20.
37: Kills by New Braunfels Canyon junior outside hitter and Army commit Marlee Lightsey during the Cougarettes’ five-set win vs. Clemens on Oct. 15. The total is believed to be a school record, surpassing the previous mark of 36 established by Madison Williams during a five-set win vs. New Braunfels on Oct. 15, 2013.
31: Consecutive district volleyball matches won by Davenport before falling to Wimberley 22-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-20 on Oct. 18. It was the Wolves’ first setback in league play since losing to Wimberley on Oct. 15, 2021.
