1,500: Career digs for Antonian senior libero and Texas-Tyler commit Anna Arceneaux, who reached the milestone during her team’s fifth-place performance at the Texas Showdown last weekend.
1,100: Career victories for Cornerstone volleyball coach Mike Carter, who reached the standard during the Warriors’ win vs. Marymount of California in the semifinals of Kamehameha Schools Labor Day Classic in Hawaii on Aug. 31. He joined Port Neches-Groves’ Barbara Comeaux, Bellville’s Susan Brewer and Amarillo High’s Jan Barker as the only coaches in Texas high school history to accomplish the feat.
Carter is in his seventh season at Cornerstone and 35th overall. He previously was head coach at Reagan, Holmes and Randolph.
1,000: Career assists for Harlan junior setter/outside hitter and Oklahoma commit Da’Mya Mann, who accomplished the feat during the Hawks’ four-set win vs. Brennan on Tuesday.
1,000: Total assists for Boerne Champion senior setter Azteca Crawford, who attained the mark at the Seguin Classic. on Aug. 31.
1,000: Career kills for Southwest senior Addison Bartlett, who reached the mark during the Dragons’ match vs. Wimberley on Aug. 27.
1,000: Total assists for Seguin junior setter Gisele Morales, who reached the milestone during the Matadors’ three-set win vs. Sam Houston on Aug. 27.
1,000: Career digs for Reagan senior outside hitter and TCU commit Mya Allen, who reached the plateau during the Rattlers’ contest vs. Episcopal at the Turner Classic in Pearland on Aug. 15.
250: Career wins for Seguin volleyball coach Ashley Farris, who accomplished the feat during her team’s victory vs. Southside at the Seguin Classic on Aug. 30. Farris is in her third season with the Matadors and 13th overall. She previously was head coach at Willis and Magnolia.
250: Career victories for Randolph volleyball coach Candace Peche-Aguirre, who reached the standard during the Ro-Hawks’ triumph vs. Eagle Pass on Aug. 27. Peche-Aguirre is in her ninth season at Randolph.
100: Total wins for South San volleyball coach Kayla Markgraf, who reached the tally during the Bobcats’ triumph vs. Taft at the Seguin Classic on Aug. 31. Markgraf, a former standout player at La Vernia, is in her sixth season as head coach at South San.
100: Career wins for Davenport volleyball coach Taylour Toso, who reached the milestone during the Wolves’ victory vs. Churchill at the Texas Showdown on Aug. 31. Toso is in her third season as head coach at Davenport and in 2023 guided her squad to the UIL Class 4A state championship.
100: Total wins for Boerne Champion volleyball coach Kelly McDaniel, who accomplished the feat during the Chargers’ victory vs. Judson at the Pieper Showcase on Aug. 23. McDaniel is in her second at Boerne Champion and sixth overall. She previously was head coach at East Central.
3: Publications that have Cornerstone listed in their national volleyball rankings. The Warriors (20-1), fresh off of winning the Kamehameha Schools Labor Day Classic in Hawaii on Aug. 31, are No. 2 in SBLive Sports Power 25 and No. 6 in both MaxPreps Top 25 and vballrecruiter.com Top 50.
