26: Consecutive district games played without a loss by the Pleasanton girls soccer team before losing to Uvalde 2-0 on Feb. 9. The Eagles were 25-0-1 in league play since a 2-1 setback to Kingsville on March 15, 2016.
300: Wins for Seguin softball coach John Garcia during his 17 seasons at the helm of the Matadors. Garcia accomplished the feat with a 9-0 victory vs. San Antonio Veterans Memorial on Monday.
1,000: Career points for Boerne sophomore Jamie Ruede. She reached the milestone during the Greyhounds’ 70-53 win Tuesday vs. Rockport-Fulton in a Class 4A third-round basketball game.

State on their mind: Four area boys and three girls teams are each one win from advancing to the TAPPS soccer state semifinal.
Four-time defending Division I state champion Central Catholic and San Antonio Christian are in the regional final. The Buttons play Houston St. Thomas and S.A. Christian takes on Beaumont Kelly.
TMI, the two-time defending Division II champion, faces Brownsville St. Joseph in a regional final, while Schertz John Paul II tangles with Cypress Christian in Division III.
On the girls side, Antonian meets Houston St. Pius X in a Division I regional final, Boerne Geneva faces Austin Regents in D-II regional final and defending D-III state champion Schertz John Paul II squares off vs. Colleyville Covenant Christian.
