From the hardwood to the gridiron and beyond, taking a look back and ahead at the San Antonio-area high school sports landscape:
By the numbers

Harlan, which has advanced to the Region IV-6A tournament in three of the past four seasons (2021, 2022, 2024), amassed a 60-0-4 record in district competition during the span.
20: Judson’s listing in this week’s Blue Star Media Elite 25 national girls basketball rankings. The Rockets (28-1) have won 21 straight games heading into Friday’s District 29-6A contest at Clemens.
