Career digs for Brennan senior libero Cecelia Mullen, who reached the standard during the Bears’ District 29-6A match vs. Warren on Sept. 8.

1,000: Career kills from MacArthur senior outside hitter Taylor Alston, who accomplished the feat during the Brahmas’ win vs. Sam Houston on Sept. 1.

1,000: Total digs for Churchill seniors Emmalee Jett and Alyssa Garcia, who both reached the milestone during the Chargers’ contest vs. Brennan on Sept. 1.

450: Career wins for Pieper volleyball coach Courtney Patton, who reached the milestone during the Warriors’ 25-18, 25-21 decision vs. Cy-Fair at the Texas Showcase on Aug. 26. Patton is in her third season at Pieper and 18th overall. She previously coached at Smithson Valley and Alamo Heights, leading the latter to the Region IV-5A tournament in 2010, 2014 and 2016.

200: Career victories for Randolph volleyball coach Candace Peche, who reached the mark with the Ro-Hawks’ 25-14, 25-14 triumph vs. Wagner at the Pearsall tournament on Aug. 24.

100: Victories for Southwest volleyball coach Catherine Cortez, who accomplished the feat during the Dragons’ 19-25, 25-21, 24-26, 25-14, 16-14 win vs. Medina Valley on Tuesday.

100: Career wins for MacArthur volleyball coach Megan Liverett, who reached the total with the Brahmas’ 25-17, 25-16, 25-14 triumph vs. Edison on Sept. 5.

5: Publications that have Cornerstone listed in their national volleyball rankings. The Warriors are No. 2 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/USA Today Super 25, MaxPreps Top 25, vballrecruiter.com Top 50 and Blue Star Volleyball Net 25 and No. 3 in SBLive Sports Power 25.
